Fixed my computer, (all by myself :D) and got back to makin' sum tunes! Hopefully you'll hear some new beats soon!

It seems that my music-makin' computer has been screwed over with the blue-screen of death. (I'm using a laptop to write this.) This has happened before, and the only way to fix it was to wipe the hard drive. I seriously hope that there's a way around that this time.

I miss making music. A lot. I have no idea how long it'll be before I can use my music-makin' computer again, and if I can use it again, if I'll even be able to save the hard-drive. Things are looking bad. Worst case scenario; I'll have to start back at square one. Meaning: none of my songs, none of my loops, nothing to build with. It'll be like having a completely new computer.

Hopefully things will sort themselves out and one way or another I'll be making music again :)

About 5 minutes ago I downloaded FL Studio 9 XXL edition along with a couple of kick-ass VSTi's and I honestly, couldn't be much happier.
I will be remaking a few of my favorite tracks from my earlier days of producing. And maybe some of my new ones too.
I'm just really looking forward to seeing what kinda tricks FL 9's got up it's sleeve. Plus, being able to save my work is going to be so awesome :3 lol My demo-days are OVER!

I'm new here... technically. I've been around on the ol' NG for about 7 years now, and I've finally decided it was time to make an account dedicated to music. And maybe some art... So this is it!

I make my tunes in FL Studio 8, like most other electronic producers that I know of. However, unlike most other producers, I'm using the demo version. Which is bad... I can save an MP3 or WAV file of my songs but I can't save the FL file. Meaning, once I've made a song and closed FL, I can't go back and change anything. So, I try to get my songs as close to perfection as possible before I save the finished file.

Another problem is, that most of the songs I've made are too large for NG and I can't upload them for you guys to hear. This wouldn't be a problem if I had a registered version of FL because I could just go back and shorten the song. But... I can't.

When I get the money I'll buy FL for sure. But until then I'll have to make due with what I've got.
